Project Notes Pro has moved from GitHub to GitLab, and there is one step existing desktop users need to take.
You will not automatically receive new updates if your installed version still checks GitHub. Please manually download and install Project Notes Pro 6.4.3 to switch to the new update location.

Why a manual update is needed
Think of it like the sign on a shop door after a move. There is a new address, but an older version of the app is still looking at the old one.
Installing version 6.4.3 switches desktop update checks from GitHub to GitLab. Waiting for an update notification in an older build will not make that switch for you.
What to do
- Open the 6.4.3 release page on GitLab.
- Download the installer for your operating system. On Windows, choose the Project Notes 6.4.3 Windows x64 Installer for the desktop app. The Remote Host installer is a separate component.
- Close Project Notes Pro, install the downloaded version, and reopen the app.
- Confirm that the installed version is 6.4.3.
Once 6.4.3 is installed, the desktop app checks GitLab for future releases. This is the one-time manual step needed to move those update checks to the new home.
Linux users: If you previously installed through the GitHub Flatpak repository, follow the remote migration instructions on the 6.4.3 release page. That page also provides the Flatpak download and installation instructions. Future Flatpak updates run through your desktop software manager or the flatpak update command.

Thank you for taking a moment to make the move with us. If you are still running a desktop version that checks GitHub, download and install 6.4.3 manually so you can receive future updates.
